Segmentation
In ultrasound images there is a lot of speckle present. This can make the segmentation of a region of interest (ROI) difficult, because oversegmentation will occur. After we have marked our ROI, quite roughly and arbitrary, some basic morphological techniques can be applied to segment the image correctly.
